What to take
Bring what you need—and only the essentials.
It can be overwhelming to know what you need when you travel. Stroller?
Crib?
High chair?
Baby food?
You don’t need to take it all, and I’m here to help. Check out some product recommendations below for advice and guidance.
Ergobaby
Our choice for hiking with a baby or toddler (or a stubborn pre-schooler). This carrier is stable, comfortable, adjustable, and versatile. Depending on your mood, you can wear it on the front or back. (Except when exploring a cave in the Azores—you need it on the front for that!) It comes with an infant inset. Durable too – we used it for all four kids. Use the fabric hood to cover their head when napping.
Moby wrap
Perfect for getting Baby to sleep in the Belizean jungle. I used this whenever I needed the baby close…for household chores, walking through the streets of Rome, or riding a train.
Joovy Caboose stroller
Sit n stand strollers offer flexibility for kids to get on and off.
